Scottish Interfaith Week provides an opportunity for individuals, local interfaith groups, faith communities, organisations and educational bodies to plan and participate in events that bring local people together to celebrate Scotland's religious diversity and promote dialogue, understanding and co-operation between Scotland's faith and belief communities.
Scottish Interfaith Week 2017 takes place from Sunday 12th - Sunday 19th November. The theme will be 'Creativity and the Arts'. The national launch event will take place on 13th November in Dundee.

Scottish Interfaith Week 2016 took place from 13th - 20th November. The theme was 'Religion and the Media'. Media reporting can have a powerful effect on people of different faiths, both positive and negative. The 2016 theme gave us an opportunity to explore our relationship with the media, how we can share the positive stories of faith and interfaith work and challenge some of the negative reporting and stereotypes about people of different faiths in the media. The launch of Scottish Interfaith Week took place at Paisley Town Hall in partnership with Renfrewshire Council and with support from Renfrewshire Interfaith Group. The winners of the Scottish Interfaith Week art competition were pupils from Wallace Primary School in Elderslie, Renfrewshire who won £50 for their school and a tour of BBC Scotland.
We have some wonderful blogs from our volunteer interfaith ambassadors and staff who reported on a variety of Scottish Interfaith Week events. You can read their stories at: https://interfaithscotland.wordpress.com/
In 2016 Interfaith Scotland celebrated Scottish Interfaith Week on the same week as the rest of the UK. The Inter Faith Network for the UK produces an 'interactive map' which you can click on to see events taking place in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as a list of events taking place in each town and city across the UK.
